I was fortunate to grow up dividing my time between the serene beauty of a Southwest ranch nestled in the high plains of northwest New Mexico and the dynamic energy of a West Coast urban area. These contrasting environments shaped my worldview from an early age, fostering a deep appreciation for both the quiet majesty of nature and the vibrant diversity of city life. On the ranch, I learned to value wide-open spaces, star-filled skies, and the rhythms of the natural world. Meanwhile, my experiences on the West Coast exposed me to new cultures, ideas, and perspectives that sparked a lifelong passion for travel and exploration. After graduating from San Diego State University, I settled in San Diego—a place that perfectly blends urban convenience with access to stunning natural landscapes. Here, I’ve built a fulfilling life with my family, who have become my greatest companions in adventure.

Now, my wife and children share my enthusiasm for immersing ourselves in the wonders of travel and outdoor experiences. Together, we embark on journeys near and far at least several times a year, whether it’s hiking through breathtaking national parks, exploring charming small towns, or venturing into foreign lands. These trips not only bring us closer as a family but also deepen our connection to the world around us. Beyond personal fulfillment, I feel a strong desire to inspire others to embrace the transformative power of travel and nature. By sharing stories, insights, and lessons from our adventures, I hope to encourage a larger community to step out of their comfort zones, explore new horizons, and cultivate their own appreciation for the incredible diversity this planet has to offer.
